The Career Readiness Certificate is preferred for enrollment in the Aerospace Manufacturing Readiness Training Program.

The CRC / WorkKeys® assessments are administered at Lenoir Community College’s Main Campus Bullock Building Room 150. Anyone who would like to test should contact Sharnette Blow for seat reservations at 252-527-6223 ext. 715. Regular testing is scheduled on Fridays and begins by 8:30 with no late arrivals and no walk-ins are accepted. Students must bring a picture ID.

WorkKeys® tests for Reading for Information, Applied Math, and Locating Information will be given in that order in timed segments with a brief break between tests. These sessions can seat up to 50 people during each scheduled session. Individuals taking tests will be informed of pick up dates for certificates and scores.

There will also be options for Saturday or evening testing that can be arranged by calling Ms Blow..These assessments are available in each county of North Carolina. Please contact your local JobLink Office for information on testing in your county.

You may also pre-assess for these tests at many of the Eastern NC Community Colleges. This pre-assessment is offered at no cost at Lenoir Community College if you are unemployed, underemployed, receive Earned Income Tax Credit, or if you have income at or below 200% of Poverty Guidelines. For all other individuals, pre-assessment costs vary depending on your local community college.
